Who has the time? I'm in the studio creating fine-art-furniture!
Is the resin food safe?
It is FDA approved for use on food preparation areas (countertops, cutting boards, etc.) However, it is not recommended for
extended food contact (could they be more vague I wonder?)
In plain English I take this to mean don’t leave food on the surface overnight as it can react with the resin.
Duh.
Most food has acid in it and will frost or ghost the resin as a result extended contact (24 hours).
And oh yeah, while I'm on the subject. If you leave food in direct contact with AIR, it will cause a reaction.
So use your head. Don't chew the resin off the art as this will ruin it- and any numb-skull can tell you it won't taste good and you could puke. Get it?
